What's inside
- A cover page to colour
- 10 number pages, each with a big number, dotted numbers to trace and the number word
- Circles to colour so children count out the exact amount
Skills your child practises
- Counting objects one by one
- Writing numbers 1 to 10
- Matching a number to a quantity
- Reading number words
How to use it at home
- Before colouring, count real things together, such as spoons, buttons or mangoes, to match the number on the page.
- Ask your child to touch each circle as they count so they do not skip or double count.
- When all ten pages are done, mix them up and ask your child to put them back in order.
Printing tips
- Print on A4 paper at 100% (actual size), not 'fit to page'.
- Black-and-white printing is fine; children will add the colour.
- Slip pages into a plastic sleeve and use a whiteboard marker to reuse them many times.
