What's inside
- 15 grid mazes that get harder step by step
- Arrow cards to cut out and lay in order
- 'Find the bug' pages where children fix a wrong set of arrows
- A floor game version using chalk or tape
Skills your child practises
- Sequencing
- Problem solving
- Left and right
- Debugging and checking work
How to use it at home
- Start with the floor game: you are the robot and your child gives you arrow instructions.
- When an answer is wrong, call it a 'bug' and ask your child to find and fix it instead of correcting it yourself.
Printing tips
- Print on A4 paper at 100% (actual size), not 'fit to page'.
- Black-and-white printing is fine; children will add the colour.
- Slip pages into a plastic sleeve and use a whiteboard marker to reuse them many times.
